These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the American Racket Sports Association website at americanracketsportsassociation.com and any related ARA-branded digital services (the "Site"). "We," "us," and "our" refer to the American Racket Sports Association ("ARA"). "You" refers to any visitor or registered member using the Site.

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing, browsing, registering for, or purchasing a membership through the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. Your use of any ARA membership tier is also governed by the membership checkout agreement you accept at registration, and by the specific policies linked from the Site (including our Editorial Standards and Privacy Policy), all of which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to register for membership, submit content, or transact on the Site. By using the Site you represent that you are at least 18 and that you will comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.

3. Membership, Dues & Renewal

ARA offers membership tiers for individual professionals, business/vendor members, and clubs/facilities. Specific pricing, seats, plan features, and renewal cadence are described on the /join page and in the checkout flow. Annual dues renew on the schedule described at checkout unless you cancel before renewal. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current paid term; we do not issue prorated refunds except where required by law or stated explicitly in the checkout agreement. Complimentary, comped, vendor, or sponsor-funded memberships are governed by the terms provided when those seats were granted.

4. Your Account & Registration

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information at registration; to keep your login credentials confidential; and to be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You may not share login credentials or transfer an account without our prior written consent. Notify ARA promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Site to: (a) post, upload, or transmit content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, infringing, threatening, or otherwise objectionable; (b) impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity; (c) interfere with the security or operation of the Site, including scraping, rate-abuse, or introducing malware; (d) use the Site for unsolicited commercial messages or to solicit ARA members for purposes prohibited by the membership terms; (e) collect or harvest the personal data of other members without their consent; or (f) reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code or internal APIs of the Site.

6. Content You Submit

When you submit content to the Site — including Words of Wisdom entries, article drafts, podcast guest inquiries, sponsorship inquiries, event questions, or featured-pro questionnaires — you grant ARA a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, edit, adapt, publish, distribute, display, and incorporate that content in any ARA editorial surface or channel. You represent that you own or have the rights to submit that content and that it does not violate any third party's rights. ARA reserves the right to edit, decline, or remove any submitted content at its discretion, and submitted content reflects the views of its contributor, not those of ARA. 7. Third-Party Links & Sponsors

The Site links to third-party websites, job postings, sponsor and partner pages, and external application portals. ARA does not control and is not responsible for the content, products, or practices of those third parties. Sponsored content on the Site is labeled as such, and ARA's publication of a sponsor or partner listing does not constitute an endorsement of that party's products or services.

8. Emails & Newsletter

Subscribing to ARA newsletters or marketing emails is optional and may be revoked at any time through the unsubscribe link in any ARA email or through the Email Preferences page. Member communications regarding your account, renewal, or status are not marketing and are sent regardless of newsletter opt-in.

9. Intellectual Property

The Site's design, text, graphics, logos, the ARA name and marks, and all original editorial content are owned by or licensed to ARA and protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works of ARA-owned content without our prior written consent, except for brief quotation with attribution linking back to the original ARA page.

10. Disclaimers

The Site and all content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. ARA does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that listings, articles, compensation data, or directories are accurate, complete, or current. Member-generated listings reflect the views of their contributors. Nothing on the Site constitutes professional advice of any kind.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will ARA be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Site. ARA's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of the Site is limited to the amount you paid to ARA in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold ARA and its officers, directors, employees, and volunteers harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your content, your use of the Site, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Privacy

Information we collect about you is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at /agency-platform-privacy-policy. By using the Site you consent to that data handling.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Site after any change constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Georgia, without reference to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms will be submitted to confidential binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. To the fullest extent permitted by law, no arbitration may be joined with others or proceed as a class arbitration.
