The ARA Referral Program — Members & Non-Members Welcome
You don't have to be a member to get paid. Refer a new member and earn $20 cash; bring a new sponsor and earn 20% of the sponsorship. Anyone can participate — industry pros, partners, even someone who just knows a club director.
How It Works
Three steps. You share a code, they save on join, you get paid.
Share your code
Every member gets a personal referral code (first name + last initial + last 2 digits of your phone). Share it with a colleague, post it in a group chat, or drop it in an email.
They save on join
Your colleague enters your code at checkout on the Join page. They get $5 off their first year of Individual membership ($75/yr).
You earn $20
Once their payment clears, $20 lands in your commission balance — cash, no cap. Refer five members, earn $100.
You don't have to be a member to earn
The referral program is open to anyone — members and non-members alike. You don't need an ARA account, a referral code, or a membership to get paid.
Members
Your personal referral code (first name + last initial + last 2 of your phone) is auto-generated when you join. Share it, and commissions land automatically in your dashboard balance — cash out via PayPal, Venmo, bank transfer, check, or membership credit.
Non-members
Don't want to join? That's fine — you can still earn. Introduce a new member or sponsor, and we'll pay you the same commission a member would get. Just email Shaun with who you're referring and we'll handle the rest manually.
Example: Joe Smith — not a member, no ARA account — introduces a club director who sponsors the ARA at the National level ($2,000). Joe earns $400 cash, paid out the same way a member's commission would be. No membership required.

Members track sponsor referrals through their dashboard; non-members just email Shaun with the introduction. Either way, the 20% is yours once the sponsorship closes.
Sharing your code
- Your code is auto-generated when you join — first name, last initial, and the last two digits of your phone (e.g. SteveB77).
- Share it anywhere: text, email, a LinkedIn post, your coaching bio.
- Your colleague types it into the “Referral or comp code” field on the Join page. The discount applies instantly at checkout.
- Your code keeps working forever — there’s no expiry and no cap on how many times you can use it.
Getting paid
- Every successful referral adds $20 to your commission balance, visible on your Referrals dashboard.
- Request a payout any time — choose PayPal, Venmo, bank transfer, a check, or apply it as credit toward your next renewal.
- An admin reviews and processes your payout request, usually within a few business days.
- Agency Early Adopter referral credits are membership-credit only (applied to your renewal) and can’t be cashed out.
